Counting Your Cards

Now is a good time to go through your address book or computer database of addresses to determine how many holiday cards you are planning on sending. If you purchase cards, you need to know how many boxes to buy; if you order photo cards online, you need to know what quantity to order.

I know that when I order from Shutterfly, the increments available are like 25, 50, or higher, and it is more expensive for me to have to re-order more if I don't have enough initially. Better to order too many and pay shipping one time, plus you can use extras for last-minute card sending (like when you receive a card from someone who wasn't on your list!).
