Quickie Tip!

After you take down decor from a holiday, don't immediately put the bin back in the attic, garage, basement or whatever remote place you keep seasonal items.

It is realistic to have stray items revealed after the fact, and you'll want easy access to put them away, too. For example, even after Halloween or Christmas is over, I have to launder holiday items such as clothing or linens. Since the laundry is not an immediate process, holiday things trickle in afterwards.

Once I think it's all been accounted for, I put the holiday bin(s) away for good.
